A response from Noel Walker…

October 28, 2011

I thought I would share the response I got from Noel Walker (author or Get the Life you Want) in relation to my earlier post Watch out for those limiting beliefs:

“Hi Sandra,

Will have another read of your blog post with a cup of coffee certainly sounds as if you’ve had a draining couple of weeks and a bit of soul searching to boot! It is worth bearing in mind that doing things that you are passionate about invigorates you, whereas as things that don’t, don’t – they leave you drained.  Not only that, but you are also battling with a whole host of other feelings too e.g. worried, angry, frustrated, guilty, concerned etc.  In other words the ramifications of forcing yourself to continue doing those tasks is effectively soul destroying.

Sure on the responsibility front you need to do them if there is no other way round it but sometimes stepping back and doing a bit of lateral thinking enables a cracking solution to come to the fore. Question is are you happy to allow that solution to come forward or do you want to keep doing it all?  Hope you’re managing to work your way through things and that in turn is assisting in a new regime being born!”

Thank you Noel for your comments today, that makes so much sense.
